Brrrrrrrr...
Dang, it's cold in these parts. Which is part of the reason I haven't posted in the last few days. Running around the house trying to keep warm. Just kidding.
Seriously, last night it was 12° when I climbed into bed around 2:30am. They are forecasting 6° overnight tonight.
We have been in this deep freeze a few days and we won't get out of it until next Monday when they expect it to go above freezing.
So I have been hibernating. I go outside twice a day to feed the cats and give them fresh water. Each time I have to break the ice out of their water bowl using a screw driver. We have well water just for use outside and even that is frozen so I have to take water from the faucet inside. Husband shut the water off to that faucet.
Patience is a virtue...so they say...I will be back when I thaw out. Unless something really spectacular happens and I just have to write about it. Don't hold your breath. Trust me, if really exciting things happened around here I would be posting almost every day.
For those of you who are following my blood pressure issues, my doctor visit earlier this week went way better than I expected. So as of now, my blood pressure readings are lower than ever (below the national standards), my cholesterol readings are lower than ever (also below the national standards), and my diet is coming along losing a few pounds here and there (not below the national standards).

I heard about that cold front in the NE USA
I heard about that cold front. Should it tell you the temps here? Ok. It's 70 here but a cold front is coming through and we're only supposed to be 60 tomorrow. hehehe
Glad your blood pressure is down and your diet is working.
MarkD60 ~ That is one of the meds I take along with atenolol and a diuretic.
Marti ~ In about a week the temp in Philly is supposed to hit 60°which means we will be about ten degrees less than that since we are north of that city quite a bit.
I always said "Patience is a virtue....and I have neither!"
LOL! Cold here in Eastern Ohio, too.
I am so sorry you are in this deep freeze. I do hope it lifts soon. I also worry about the outside cats!
Glad to hear that your tests showed good results. I hope that everything soon thaws! Jx
