This is a followup to my post yesterday on Big Ben. His injuries consist of a broken upper and lower jaw, the loss of two teeth, a broken nose, broken facial bones and various cuts and bruises. Oh, and don't forget the concussion.
All those injuries were above his shoulders. Imagine, if you will, that he was wearing a helmet at the time of his accident. He may have been able to walk away unscathed. On the other hand, he could have died! Or he could have ended up in a chair.
Now...here's the best part: he was driving on an expired temporary permit to ride motorcycles. That's two strikes. Yes, I would say he was damn lucky. It just wasn't his time to go...
