This is one of my favorite times of the year. I like having more light at the end of the day. I wish we could have it this way all year 'round.
Of course, I do have to try and make sure the cats get fed at their proper times. The three inside tell me when they are hungry, but those outside start gathering at their built-in time so all I have to do is wait till most of them are out there and then feed them. Within a week or two we are usually on the same level.
It makes me cringe when I see the phrase Daylight Savings Time; there is no 's' on the end of Saving. This is not a Savings and Loan thing; we are simply saving time, as it were. As it were? What does that mean anyway? I have no idea, it just sounded good.
Husband is doing well but last night was touch and go. His prescribed cough medicine has codeine in it. He was taking the prescribed dose every four hours, never missed a dose. Last night it finally caught up with him and he was so dizzy and lightheaded I was ready to call 911. When I finally determined it was in fact the codeine causing his problems, I told him to go back to his OTC cough medicine and stop taking the other stuff.
As of this morning he is a different man and should be back to almost normal within a few days. We always have to learn the hard way. I really don't think he should have been prescribed codeine due to his other medications, especially since he did not see his regular family doctor. We go to a practice run by a father and his son and it is the son that we always see. But because it was a same day appointment call, we got the father who was the only one there that day. We had to take what we could get.
